In a recent attempt to spread his word, God has used popular internet exchange services to distribute the #1 hit single in Christian music, "Rockin Hallelujah," on mp3. The song, created and performed by Moses and the Israelites, has been at the top of the charts in the Christian community for 8 straight weeks, it nudged out "Tub Thumping" by Chumbawumba, a song that was just recently found to depict the battle between David and Goliath. Record companies that represent the group and have rights to the popular song condemn this action saying God is breaking the law and his power needs to be restricted, a public statement currently reads, "we will see him in court."
God, the all knowing and all powerful being, that governs heaven and earth, will have to defend his case for spreading his word against the powerful record labels. Consumers and music lovers are supporting God with prayers and donations to his church but in current times God has only been victorious in 1 of 9 earthly court battles, not a good sign for religious fanatics. When asked about his losing record God said "I know that I am all knowing and should be able to win but for some reason the jury always sides against me, my downfall is that I have to obey the stupid laws down here, I made a mistake when I was young by saying what you hold true on earth I'll hold true in heaven. That mistake has cost me ever since, its exploited by those damn lawyers, if I lose this one they're all going to hell."
Concerned citizens are pulling for God and are even going so far as to ask God to take away free will. Even though this sounds like a good idea, God lost a court battle in 1983 and is now banned from removing free will. His power has been restricted to that of a mortal and even that is dwindling by the day. "Rockin Hallelujia" is his last attempt to spread his everlasting love and word.
